House History
House was built between 1864-1870 by the Pearson Brothers for the
Leask family. It stands today as it did in 1870, a symbol to the detailed
and
accurate workmanship. Note the use of 26” thick 12” x 24” cut
stone, six panes
over six windows, single front door with side lights and transom and
gothic
